About Me
From Working Drawings to Digital Builds
For over two decades, I’ve earned my living as a self-employed carpenter, building everything from bespoke timber structures to fine interior finishes with a sharp eye for detail. Carpentry taught me that you can’t build anything built to last without a solid foundation, precise measurements, and a deep respect for the architectural plans.
My transition into web design came from a desire to apply that same level of craftsmanship to the digital world. I discovered that assembling a professional website isn’t all that different from fine joinery—it requires patience, organisation, and a commitment to ensuring the structure is as robust on the inside as it looks on the outside.

My Digital Philosophy
I don’t believe in cutting corners, and I don’t build bloated websites full of unnecessary digital clutter. My design philosophy centres on structural correctness and efficient layout design. Just as you wouldn’t hide poor framing behind a layer of plaster, I ensure the underlying setup of every website I build is lightweight, highly efficient, and optimised for real-world performance.

By utilising modern WordPress block architecture, native layouts, and clean assembly practices, I build sites that aren’t just visually appealing—they load incredibly fast on mobile networks, rank effectively on search engines, and directly support the businesses they represent.
Why Work With Me?
When you hire me to build your website, you’re not dealing with an anonymous agency or someone who relies on generic, slow templates. You are working with a local professional who understands the day-to-day realities of running a business. I bring a practical, straight-talking approach to every project, delivering high-utility digital tools that do exactly what they promise: elevate your business and turn web traffic into genuine enquiries.
